Passing Hope understands the importance of utilizing experts in their fields, to assist in advising and assisting our organization with our mission, programs, and planning. We will soon be announcing the first members of our Advisory Committees. Passing Hope will provide those with extensive experience in several disciplines, the ability to sit on two committees.
The initial committees which will be announced are:
1) Soccer Planning – This committee advises Passing Hope on all soccer related programs, curriculum, and strategy. Eligible members of this committee will include business leaders within the sport, coaches, players (both current and former), scouts, referees, and other key personnel that will help advance all of our soccer programs (both able bodied and adaptive), including to train and educate through the sport. 2) Haiti Planning – This committee advises Passing Hope on all of its Haitian projects. Eligible members of this committee would be Haitian business leaders, Haitian Sports Figures, those that lead other charities with programs and missions in Haiti, governmental figures in US & Haiti, and Haitian community and business leaders both in the US and in Haiti, who have extensive experience on how to conduct business in Haiti & the knowledge of the Haitian culture. 3) Medical Planning – This committee advises Passing Hope on all of its medical programs that deal with the physically disabled, and will oversee the planning on all medical programs and projects in Haiti and beyond, including those providing training to the people in all of our project locations. Eligible members of this committee are Medical Doctors, leaders from medical organizations and associations, experts in Athletic Training, Physical Therapy, and Rehabilitation, especially those with experience working with amputees.
4) Business Strategy – This committee advises Passing Hope on all of its business interests and organizational management. Eligible members of this committee will be business leaders and those with experience running non-profits, those adept in the entrepreneurial process, to assist in providing ideas to create self-sufficiency in all of those areas that are socio-economically challenged, as well as experts in various capacities, including finance, legal, marketing, grant writing, public relations & sponsorships.
